This time the bars of a very brave DKig winner and the dates of awarding.
What an AMAZING bar!WOW!
The man was obviously a tremendously brave soldier! I'll bet he got some serious respect from his fellow soldiers.
He continued to be an amazing man into his BW days.
He was old enough to fight in WWII (wounded in 1940) and yet got his "Fallschirmspringerabzeichen" in 1963!
That is no easy task!

Here is my contribution and one of the pictures I have of Helmut Mahlke. I always enjoy looking at his items when I get them out of the box.

Normally I don't collect anything with such a late/modern hardware on the bar. So this is my ONLY bar with a ball catch.
But it came in a group, I posted it here; http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=600977

Also notice the difference in the ribbons with the previous bar that I posted
Another great ribbon bar Luud!
The different ribbons represent different classes of the Order. The first bar has the 1st Class and the second bar has the 2nd or 3rd Class decoration.
Best regards
Pierce
