Default SKULL RING - good one?

Hello all,
I am not very familiar with these ´´Kantinen rings´´ and would like to ask more experienced collectors, if this one is period piece or crap?
Thank you for your comments and help.

Regards

Dedman

- an old pattern.. I've seen a period ad for it being a Momento Mori ring originally out of Finland [late teens, early 20s]

They were made for many years, pre war, wartime and postwar..
This one not Finnish because of no date code in band.
There is a content mark,,and something else,,best to try and make big clear photos of the marks for identification..

Thank you for your reply! I tried to make a photo of that small mark, so this is the best picture I was able to make. It seems there is a number 990 or 900....This ring should be a ground fing, so I hope it could be good, but other opinions are always welcome.

- well its got some good age and wear to it.. 900, 935, 950, 990 are all good early content marks..
Consensus on this pattern is it is neither particularly Germanic nor military theme related..
A good old skull ring though..
If your interested and would like to view some nice rings and other 3rd Reich jewelry ,, I invite you to have a look at the following sites...
