chain stitched
Can anyone supply me with a few examples of chain stitching.I keep hearing this and i need to learn.

Hi Pete,
I cant post pics but my suggestion is to put seperately into the search engine under the Flag forum option "Ortsgruppe" , "Daf" and Nsbo.
All of these flags usually have named Canton patches done in chain stitch.

Yes - "Search" those words and you will find plenty of examples . . . here are a couple . . . but if you take the time to seek on your own, you will easily find many more . . .

Here's a combo of bullion embroidery on one side for the police eagle.....
And chain stitching to do the city coat of arms of Dusseldorf.........

I agree. Especially when it's used to do elaborate designs like what's shown here in post #6.
