Hello,
Well, it's my first message on this forum and my English is quite bad...
By the way, your Lao para wing has been attributed in the 60's.
I have a copy of diploma (brevet) for Lao para wing nr 8142, given the 31 may 1972 (to a US major).
That's why I'm nearly sure that your has been given in years 1965/1970.
Untill 1954/1955, only the French para wing was given to Vietnamese, Laotian or Cambodgian para troops.
It's only after 1955 that typical national para wings were attributed to Laotian and Cambodgian red berets.
Last point, a Drago Rue de Romainville fabrication is more years 1953/1954 than 1952/1953 (but, it's just an indication...one of my fellow was para during the 80's in the 6°RPIMa and the para wing which was him officially attributed was a Drago rue de Romainville...nearly 30 years after its fabrication !...).
Best regards from France,
Bruno
