Scabbard for short Japanese bayonet question

I got this with some other Japanese items, I was wondering what does it go for?
It is 9" long

Kinda looks home made to me. The loops and solder look home done. Some GI's would cut down the Japanese bayonets and remove the hooked quillion and turn them into fighting knives.
