It might be of interest that the 1939/1940 EKM-Verzeichnis of II./FJR1 and Zug Witzig has no "Kraemer" in it and 3 men named Krämer: 1 in 4.Kp., 1 in 8.Kp. and 1in the Pi-Zug (SA Koch).

Shaun,

I’ve mentioned this offline but I will mention this again, fantastic visor!

Isn’t it conceivable that a perfectly good piece of clothing has been issued to Kramer for practical reasons, i.e. because he lost his original visor, or it’s the only visor available that fits etc..., the fact the stamping is not strictly correct could be a red herring?
