How is it possible to ignore the existence of this forum for so long? I just stumbled in today by pure coincidence and I couldn't believe my eyes. I took 20 pills to keep my blood pressure within acceptable limits. All those well-known names. Brrrrr...

If you gentlemen agree I would love to join the discussion now and then. I also intended to post a picture, but for one or other reason I saw a message that I could do anything as regards posting except forward a photo. Can anybody tell me what's wrong?
BTW my sincere congratulations with all those beautiful photos that you are kind enough to share with us Bill. Really excellent stuff among it.
In the near future I shall try to give some comments on a couple of them. My knowledge about 44/45 wrecks is limited, but when it comes to Ardennes 44 the chance is a little bigger that I could throw a light on one or two.
The two photos mentioned above (17 & 17) of a ko'd Panther depict a beast from Pz.Brig.105 that was lost at Welkenraedt (not Eupen) in eastern Belgium in early Sep 44.

... with an aging man who's getting Alzheimer, Parkinson and catarac at the same time. You indeed informed me about the existence a long time ago, but it went out of my mind into oblivion.
This photo smells like bulge. Landscape (kind of fir trees), period of the year make it hard for me to believe that it would be anywhere else.
Cheers,

Stefan,
Nice pic!! Do you have alot of photos of destroyed vehicles in and around Mons? To my understanding there were many vehicles knocked out or captured in the Mons pocket (Kessel). When I was stationed at SHAPE back in the 1970's I remember reading about a large amount of Vehicles that disappeared from that area. Unfortunately I wasn't into collecting at that time but did manage to pick up some nice daggers and a MP44...which I sold before I left Belgium in 1977.
Here are some nice large pics (12 x 9 1/2) that I rediscoved in a folder Knocked out Panzer IV.
