Default Soviet padded jacket 1969-1988

I am going through a Soviet phase ... This is my latest acquisition:

My sources say that it is a "Bushlat" or "Kurtka" which must be the later descendant of the Telogroyka. Introduced with the 1969 regulations and apparently preferred to the overcoat as less bulky and constricting.
Collar and shoulder boards:

Size and stamp:

"operative" pics

and a photograph in anger...

There was a bushlat to replace the shinel for winter field use, but this item is not it.

This is the winter working dress jacket.

Welcome to the Motherland genosse ;-)

There is another version with pockets without flaps, that is the actual working jacket, there is also a version with fur collar for NCO and maybe higher.

Funny thing is, this version in the m69 regulations book is on the same page as work jackets, and the shinel is still shown
as combat winterwear.
But in the 73 regs it is shown on multiple pages as normal uniform, and also on a page with work uniforms, and the shinel is
still in the drawings with full combat gear, and the fur collar version is seen as officer wear.

These might have started out as work jackets, but may have been introduced later as combat gear, because it is just a lot
more comfortable than the huge shinel, and there are lots of pics of these jackets in use in Chechnya by normal infantry,
and also artillery

There are photos of the work jacket in use in Afghanistan too, but I think that is just expedience rather than dress regulations. I have somewhere some gsfg pics from the seventies that do show the bushlat in use.
