Wound badge maker mark
I have bought several years ago a Black Wound Badge in black in his envelope and always thought it was an unmarked one. Last week I was cleaning my medals and I discover I was wrong, but here start my doubts, I see that the badge has a makermark that was raised in the back of the badge, but not as usually at the bottom near the catch or in the helmet, it was in the svastica, in the middle line in the form of a number and two letters, "129" and what appears to be a "FK" the "F" is clear but the "K" looks like an "I" followed by the rest of the letter a little bit separate, not too much but separate. The envelope has the marks from Ludwig Bertsch in Karlsruhe and the "129" is for Fritz Kohm in Pforzheim. Anybody knows something about this maker making wound badges, really the price I pay for it was very low, but I'm intrigated aboout it.
Cheers
Angel

If you want I can send you pics and you can put it on the forum, unafortunately I'm not so "clever" to make it by myself, when God gives computer skill I was in the bar drinking a beer.
Cheers

Hola Angel,
Te vas a acercar a Madrid a finales de mes para visitar la Bolsa de Militaria? Seria una buena oportunidad para conocernos y examinar esa chapa de herido.
Un saludo,
Javier.

At the end of the month a small meeting will be made in Madrid, and he ask me if I'm going to attend the show, I reply probably not because I live in Canary Island that are in the middle of the Atalntic Ocean and every trip requires, at least, one airplane travel and only for a weekend is too expensive in money and time. Islas Afortunadas is the nickname of Canary Island and could be translated as Lucky Islands because here always is spring or summer, never autumm or winter. Now Rkoy you know what we said.
Cheers

I have seen in Germany several repro paper bags for WB's,with the same script with different firms printed on the back. The mistake on them is that they're made from wood-free paper. This bag in question is similar with them.
The wound award is made from steel and overall is looking ok to me from the scans. I'm unaible to see the maker marks, too small pic's.
