What are the thoughts on this "Indian made" wing? I have not seen one like this before.

Cheers, Ade.

Hello Ade,

I believe these are for the Pakistani Army (post-war)

Jack.

Hi Jack, thanks for that. Never seen one before. I think someone has just overpaid then.

Cheers, Ade.

Here's Gary's reply:

The wing is good ... BUT it is an unissued wing !!!
at 390E, it is too expensive a price for an unissued wing !!!!

.. The price should be around the £150 - 250E region.

... The unissued wings do appear quite often, and are usually overpriced !!!

There is infact another unissued wing on E-bay at the moment ...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...1205&rd=1&rd=1

.. And again, this is over priced as far as I'm concerned !!!

Regards and best wishes ..

Gary

That last wing has been on eBay for at least a year or more!

Yes Des, well spotted !!
That wing has been "E-Bayed" at least four times at the same price ...
The seller is a well known Polish collector from Florida.

.. Sooner or later the badge will sell to most likely a long term (and I mean long term) collector, as the present price will take a few years to be reach the same price on the open market.

As ever, if the badge was an issued item, then the price would be acceptable depending on who received it.

Regards

Gary J.

... Hot off the press !!!!
There's some wings popped up on E-bay which "I would not have in my collection" ....

There have been a few things recently that have made me want to get out of this hobby, this being one of them!

Very sad to see. "Private auction" what a surprise!

Here is another seller taking the proverbial.

SF insignia is apparently their speciality yet here they are offering obvious fakes as real

Well, I hope he finds time to do so soon so these wings don't end up as originals anymore.

I wonder what the winning bid will be on ebay, possibly a compliment for Steve.
