Nice try but no good postwar badge and beret despite the date, the beret is also far from looking as ww2. By the way in 1944 the sas had to adopt the maroon airborne forces beret although some old hands refused and kept wearing beige like Paddy.Cheers JB

The seller had offers from all over the world ( and is still getting them ! )
It sold for a very fair price, but I won't disclose it here.

Well I offered the seller more than he sold it for. I think the seller rushed into a deal and now regrets it. Items usually find their level on eBay.

Not quick sand, oil sand..
I'm in camp in the middle of nowhere up to three weeks at a time and home for one week. I'll be be home on wednessday and I promoice I'll have some photos for you by the weekend. Sad part is I haven't even seen it in person yet
