Simply outstanding! Fantastic work you have done preserving a window into history, that few have an opportunity to see outside of immediate family.
Please keep up the good work!
Please find a similar panzer grouping you don't wish to keep!
Richard

This is the type of grouping collectors dream of, you are truly fortunate to have have known the veteran himself, he should be proud knowing it was passed on to someone who will appreciate the history. Absolutely wonderful, thank you for sharing.

That is an incredible camo tunic and overhanded by the vet himself makes it a real treasue .
I know exactly how your face was when Hans Joachim showed up with the tunic. To me happend the same and i was like this
Sad to hear that Hans-Joachim has passed away ...
In fact it is not about the tunic, it is about knowing the man and history behing this pieces, which makes it priceless.
Thats is what i call a collectors dream becoming true

21 panzer division
Very nice post that you have sent, which I have just noticed.
Ref Feuchtinger pic etc -left Major Ruprecht Heeringer 11a 10/12/44
to 1945,Heimdahls Book has him as Heringer??.
Unidentified officer is more than propably Major Gerhard Scharnhorst-he
was a holder of the Ehrenblattspange which he wears,he was the former
1b of the Div,becoming 1a 15/9/44 till Jan 1945,he was then sent as 1a
39 Pz Corps,he was Born 16/3/1915.
Regards Harmel
