Default Transportkasten Fu document

I have updated the document again, thanks to Tornfute for new information and pictures. I have added a number of boxes, content tables and changed some of the photographs. This is the most complete overview of FU boxes yet.....

Good work!

Here`s a package "Krokierstifte", which were part of the Fu 24.
And btw, "Eis Portion" (Fu 53) means EISERNE Portion, which is an emergency ration, "Eisen Portion" is a ration made of iron!

Best regards

Dirk

Default Tirpitz

I wonder how somebody is claiming to have the " Tirpitz Enigma ", She was sunk in the fjord outside Tromsoe and was later taken in pieces as scrap metal.

Any clues as to the authentisity of the chiphermachine labelled " Tirpitz " ?
The Norwegian government had access to plenty of Enigmas in the big U-boot bunker in Trondheim. Students at the technical University were given all the German stuff they wanted after WW2 so they could play with it and take parts for new projects.

It has nothing to do with the battelship Tirpitz, merely that it is a variant of the enigma the machine with a "T" serial number. It was actually made for the Japanese.

Default tirpitz enigma

hello , i never write it's the enigma belonging to tirpitz ship !
funksammler has given the answer , and i plently agree with what he says .
it's a nickname or code , to design an enigma variation , and it's like the
E52 called "koln " , nobody will confuse this with the town of KOLN
or a torn e b , "berta " with krupp daughter !
