Hi Eddie!!!
That looks to be a nice S&L 2nd pattern with a "C" frame!! Quality looks good, i guess the core is magnetic? If it is, then i'd guess early to mid 1960's!!

Hi Eddie,
Its indeed the "C" frame with the "bleeding flaw" at the 9 o'clock arm.
And I'm pretty sure this RK is one formerly owned by myself ... seems its travelling the world nowadays  .

Dietrich Maerz' book on RK's had a section covering the 1957 RK.
But a book that is targeting 57ers and specific RK's is not on the market yet.
I assumed that member Peter Wiking was writing a book on the subject, but nothing heard for quite some time ...

Thanks Mathijs,i wish someone will cover 57 crosses soon as there allot of 57 fakes floating around + would be nice to know time frames, makers etc..
