I do not think the Huhnlein NSKK was ever made and is a fantasy piece. The Rohm dagger looks original to me when the inscription is not enlarged. I would wait for others and there opinions.Good Luck

I would not want any of them. There are original Hühnlein daggers out there.
Time will show....

The Rohm Pack is 100% original, no doubt about it.
Every Pack inscriptions has a unique flaw to it and this one fits the bill perfectly.

The NSKK though is a compete junk.

Andi,

The reason why the NSKK feels so "real" is because they are using original parts, blade, grip, crossguards and so forth.

I've never own such a dagger but these are generally accepted as being fantasy pieces.
I for one, would never buy one.

Of my knowledge is the NSKK Hühnlein Dagger neither a fantasy product.
The quality of this dagger is nice . I actually think it's nothing wrong with the workmanship.
I like it, but let's wait for more opinion's.

Original NSKK High Leader do exist but we are here talking about a plain common RZM type dagger, a complete different thing.

Sorry but I don't think the rohm dagger is original. All genuine pack have a closed hammer logo never open like the one shown in this thread.

On the Rohm I don't like what I see in 'Ernst Rohm'. Below is the accepted signature that I go by for e-pack Rohm's.

On top of the much debated Open vs. Closed hammer Seigfreid, I choose to turn away from a Open Hammer as in this thread. I prefer by epack logos to look like this.

Then when I see that the grip doesn't seem to fit properly like I would expect on a Rohm epack....for me it's three strikes.

The Huhnlein is junk and so is the Rohm.

The thread starter Hühnlein dagger is a fake, and there are some high end fakes that were made up circa early 1970's (?) that share some common characteristics. But there are (or were - present whereabouts unknown) original chained daggers worn by high ranking individuals including Hühnlein himself. Here is a link to one of the earlier discussions (page #2 Re: Glutton for Punishment post #12518 - 02/26/10 07:28 PM) showing an "in use" set of photos that shows a different configuration than anything seen here so far.
