The man on the right of the group photo
in the trench seemed familiar to me
there is a portrait shot of him in
Brian Bells Wehrmacht Combat
Helmets 1933-45 pg 16
i'm positive its the same guy.

Thanks Kurt its quite sad to look at earlier pictures of
these guys in what i would think were happier times
i am very happy your great unkle was found and his dog tag
will be returned(Sturm) a great ending to a sad story
