Werner Albrecht Freiherr von Gilsa (Mars 4th 1889 in Berlin, + on May 8th, 1945 Leitmeritz (suicide)) was a German an agent, more recently a general of the infantry and last commander(major) of Dresden. It is a pity that the man's passphoto was taken out but you have the man's face on other photos you show us here.

Nice group. What are you going to do with the drawing? This is the kind of LARGE addition to a group I am usually not too fond of

The last unit I can see was Pionier Bataillon 267 (if I read correctly). But this units was destroyed in mid 1944.
If you show us the last information (14/12/1944) maybe we could see what unit he was with then. That could give a bit more information how he ended the war.
