Condor Legion Wounded Badge

I am hoping I can get a little information from a few of you veteran badge collectors about a badge I recently purchased. I recently purchased what looks like a gold german wounded badge. Upon reading these forums and few other websites I figured out that the badge was a condor legion wounded badge. Can anyone tell me anything about the rarity of these badges, how they were awarded, or distrubuted, etc. Any information would greatly be appreciated and thanks for any info in advance. Sure is nice to have a forum like this to be able to communicate with other collectors.

You must know this: Not only this badge was awarded to the soldiers in Legion Condor (in fact none golden wounded badges was awarded in LC). In the first month of II WW a lot of this model wounded badges was given. It isn´t no clear why. Somebody say this badge is for veterans from Legion Condor, but a lot of evidences exists to prove the contrary. Other people say that: simply these badges were given to finish the available stocks.
Whatever, a spanish wounded badge is always more expensive than a normal wounded badge.
