Latest addition to my collection. HJ Truppenzart of the HJ Feldschar. Hard to find these straps, especially in good condition. The moths seem to love the blue background of them.

Recent additions arrived this week. A friend is narrowing his collecting focus, and offered his collection of HJ straps up. I could not refuse. It was very exciting to open the parcel and find all these. I'm most pleased about the Reichsfinanzeschule pair. This set was photographed for "Youth Led By Youth", and I've admired them for years. Nice to finally have them in my collection.

Better photos of the RFS pair. They are modified with snaps on the reverse and homemade wooden stiffeners to make them more like "boards" instead of straps. My favorite new set.

A really focussed collection - takes dedication and the ability to not get sidetracked!

Nick, it came early for me yes! This buy blows my collecting budget for a little while now.

I'll be back in the game before too long hopefully.

piw:
I focus mostly due to budgetary reasons. I'd love to branch out, too many things I like!

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm still adding straps here and there as interesting examples come up. Still missing some core items like a matching NPEA set and matching Gebietstab set but they will eventually turn up. I'm in for the long run.

Didn't see this thread till now. As the others have said - an amazingly focused and thorough collection. It's difficult to stay so focused imo.

Congrats.

Amazing collection. Love those DJ sleeve insignias and the '34 Pattern HJ Shoulder Straps!
