Well Nigel, I think you've got yourself a nice and early 57er RK case ...

All the displayed details match my early ones ....

http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=411169
and
http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=421803

Very nice find ... the early ones are ( IMO ) quite hard to find and getting very expensive these days ...

Cant comment on the ribbon though ... .

Grtz
Mathijs

Ooops, i am late to the party but not too late
From what i know and see you got a very nice 57er RK etui

Good to see your 1st pattern gets a nice bed for sleeping and good to see you could upgrade your collection.

Congrats on that nice catch

Cheers Rudiger!!!
I think that RK's, DK's etc. look better when they are in a case, but as Mathijs said, nice cases dont turn up too often, and can be expensive when they do!!
