The time, attention to detail and effort put into these volumes is just amazing.

True benchmark publishing, looks to be as required as volume 1.

Thanks for the update Bob.

Patrick, I think that you will find the second volume of SOG better than the first. I say this because after the first volume many more veterans opened up with tremendous images and information. Jason has been working non-stop in acquiring this great new information. The layout has been changed slightly to enable readers to gather information on an individual quickly. An index has also been included to aid in research. And more color photographs!
You can order the book right now through Jason and get free postage if ordered before 15 May, 2010.
I am already laying Volume 3 and it is expected to be finished this year!

I forgot to mention that the Recon Teams covered in Volume 2 are:
RT Fleur-de-lance
RT Florida (CCN)
RT Copperhead
RT Maryland
RT New York
RT West Virginia

Hi Mike,

thanks for the extra details, much appreciated.

Will volume 3 be the final in the series?

Bob is right; ten volumes are planned. However, some of these volumes will concern equipment used by SOG, berets and uniforms, etc.

No doubt Jason has been working very hard on this.
A bench mark and the be-all and end -all in SOG when it is done.
Looking good.
