Hi Bart,
Second one reads:
"Vor dem Soldatenheim in Hasselt"
First one is difficult, so I can only decipher part of it (and even then I am not certain):
"Nach [?????] Urlaub ist gut [???]"

1) "Nach getaner Arbeit ist gut ruhn (Chef)" - after work you may relax (Boss) .

Hello and greetings,
This is in an album from a German officer in Romania in 1944.
Could you please tell me what the pencil caption says here?
I think the 1st part says Bucharest? Am I correct?
What is the 2nd part after that (before "44")?
Thanks fro your time.
J.p.

The only name that comes to mind is Wittstatt Christian,Oberst, Inf.Rgt. 527.
But think it is wrong. Only a guess.

3350 Abmarsch des Nachkommandos von Berlin
Not sure what a "Nachkommando" is unless I have read this incorrectly.

Christian Wittstatt was Inf Rgt 527´s Kommandeur in 29.09.1941 when he was condecorated with the Honor Roll Clasp of Heer but I don´t know when he left the commanding and who was his substitute.
