Ein russ.(ischer) Panzer dem ging der Benzin aus und konnte leider nicht nach Berlin.


A Russian tank that run out of fuel and regrettably could not make it to Berlin.

I try to translate the text:

"Dear Käthchen,

at first I sent you my best regards and hope that you are fit as I am also (fit).

The holidays I was spending very well and I hope you did the same.

Will give you more information in my letter. Here specially the weather was very nice. I visited the E....place where it was very nice.

Käthchen, today I have bought you a very nice swimsuit, pure wool. You will be astonished.

I need some help with this text written on the unit page of a soldbuch.
Its about Panzergrenadier-Division Brandenburg:
