But "Grenadierbegleitzug"/"Grenadier-Begleitzug" did exist:

Heute heißt es nun dass morgen geladen werden soll. – Jedenfalls scheint die „Sache“ noch nicht zu gehen. Auch haben wir Tauwetter, sodaß die Wege kaum passierbar sind. Trotzdem sind meine Jungens gestern Abend alle gut nach „Hause“ gekommen von einer Strecke im ganzen 170 klm hin und her. Wie ich Dir schon im Luftpostbrief schrieb, gibt es hier sehr viel zu tun. Hoffentlich hast Du ihn bekommen. Ich hoffe, noch mal eine Marke zu erhaschen. Ob ich Dur nun heute schon ein gesundes neues Jahr wünsche? Man weiß ja nicht wie lange die Post unterwegs ist, Du aber wie ich es meine! Für heute herzinnigste Grüße und ganz liebe Küsse von Deinem Jungen

Thawing makes the roads impassable. Nevertheless all of his boys made 170 km the other day. There is much work to do.
He doesn't have much confidence in the post.

Yea it looks strange to me as well!
But that Stug/Jagdpanzer escort sounds pretty oke..
One of the unit´s he was in was: Sturm-Bataillon AOK 18.
He was in the 5 (Schwere) Kompanie.
And he earned the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen bronze while in that unit, which makes sense if he´s just an combat escort and not a real panzergrenadier or something.
So he could have functioned as Stug escort of some sort?
But i don´t know if that unit had panzers..

Dear guys,

Found a lot with two monthly ticket for 1942, one ausweis for Berliner S bahn with eagle and a little iron plake written "WACHGESELLSCHAFT fur BERLIN u.NACHBARORTE G.m.b.h FRIEDRICHSTR. 125".
Could u tell me what is this last object? Will try to post pics.

I hope it is not a problem to post it here, but instead of a German, this time I have problems with reading some English writing. It is a postcard from the First World War and I am trying to read the name to who it was sent, but I can't really make it out. Is someone able to help?

That is what it looks like to me as well, but the handwriting is really odd. The first "R" in Carr has a deliberate, separately applied cross-stroke, which would make it unquestionably an "x', but then the word makes no sense at all. And then, no dot for the "i"?
The guy must have been a doctor.
