I say yes, but it should have the later type insignia. I think the value of the '34 skull and '36 eagle are getting so high that people are switching out the insignia on these caps. Some people may not like the untreated visor underside, or the lack of a name pocket in the sweat diamond, but there are maker variations found even in these RZM caps!

I concur with Arran that this cap is period with replaced insignia. FYI, this is a black SS cap, not specifically an Allgemeine cap. The black uniform was worn by all branches of the SS as it's dress uniform.
