Nice pouch Jorn. The browns have been getting tougher to find over the years. I'm always hunting good pairs.

Were not brown (WWII) ammo pouches Luftwaffe?

Jaime, they are typically identified to Luftwaffe and police organizations. However, a fair number of them were also used by the DAK early.

Jack, and what about certain pouches that have been blackened? I've seen already some which were brown shades are visible from wear, I don't know the reason for that. This happens also with Y-straps, belts etc...
Sorry for this dumb question, but :
Were all leather items original brown?

Thanks in advance for clearing this out

ps : very nice pouch indeed, Jorn!
Cheers

Jan
