Default Bullion Flak Trade / Spec Patch --Pretty Neat!

I thought the Luft. Flak Badge collectors out there might appreciate seeing this bullion Flak Trade Patch (not that it's a Flak Badge, but it's kind of related). I've posted a couple of shots; it's hard to truly capture the amazing detail! Hope you enjoy. This is the only one that I've encountered, and I thought it was amazing.

Dear Douglas,

I have seen a few other bullion flak specialty patches (one being in Marc's collection) but this is by FAR, the best example I have seen.

This appears, from the pictures, to be mounted in a photo album or on a salesman sample board. Could you please post more pictures? They all appear mint.

Thanks for showing this.

HRW boy? I'm sure there is an inside joke there.

But thanks for the comments.

I'll try to get some more pics up of the other spec patches...all in bullion, all Luft., and all from one manufactuer. Give me a day or two to snap some more photos.

I had this photo on hand, but I really need to work on some close-ups. This photo does not convey any sense of the exacting detail that each of the individual spec patches displays. (Hopefully I'll have some time Thursday evening.) Stay tuned...

Did you put this display together or is it a liberated salesman's sample display? Fantastic stuff!

No, they all came together. I presume it's as you said...a salesman's sample board, or a manufacturer's sample board.

Great salesman sample board! Nice ones with all of the original insignia still attached are tough to find. I enjoy seeing these and I've only managed to find one for my collection (shoulder strap/board devices - 54 pieces). I usually see these either missing insignia or in bad shape (folded, torn, stained).

Wow, not a lick of tarnish or a pulled thread on any of them. Superb!
