Seeing this thread, I have never seen these LGAB's as wartime pieces. Is there any reference book or website which shows us what wartime awards were re-issued in 1957 awards ? Or am I asking a stupid question here . Just asking because I've seen these with 100 & 200 assaults as well.

Great link, Luud . Thanks for posting . I pulled some info from this site : http://www.57er-orden.de/57er-orden_...che_orden.html.
However, amongst these pix, there is clearly modern production as well.
