Default Something to go w/a Spoon & Other Polizei

Excluding the tunic used as background, the other random items are recent items I've picked up here and there despite not attending the SOS. Some of these I'm very excited about and I hope you enjoy!

The Plate is one of my favorite items I've wanted to find for display with my lonely spoon! Thanks Joe!

Another exciting item, a Prussian Landjägerei Tschako plate/star (For some reason the wear really came out in the photo, much better in hand)

How can I resist one of these license plate discs, especially one with the swastika still visible on the lead center attachment post...

The SOS for sure is a great show (I´ve been told), but there´s a collectors life aside....as we can see!

Superb new items Dave

There are two plates left for sale in the E-Stand/Misc. III Reich Item section if anyone is interested. I have one an sold another out of a group of five. You can see some minute surface wear in the plates as evidenced in Dave's.

I agree! One of the fun parts of collecting is never knowing what might be on the last table at a militaria show or when some other collector might contact you with an irrestable item for sale. Sometimes we have a list of things that we are looking for but sometimes we don't even know that we want something until we lay eyes on it.

Hallo Dave,

very nice items, I love these plate-pictures. Can you show us a detail-picture of the police-sign on the spoon ?

Kind regards

Hannes

Thanks for all the positive comments! Those police plates are really great, perhaps a bit off the beaten path for all uniforms/insignia collector, although they add a unique other dimension to any collection. Great for display too and besides that they are rather difficult to locate and well worth what Joe's asking in my humble opinion.

Hannes, I will add a couple detailed pictures for you of the police marking on the spoon.
