Default LW Transitional Helmet

I find this helmet very interesting. I purchased it from a lady that said she lived in Spain in the 1960s. She said the person that gave it to her said it was a German motorcycle helmet from the Revolution. So I assume Condor???
The helmet seems to be hand painted as well as the tri-color. Any idea of what kind of chinstrap is still attached?
Any comments are welcome to inform me.....

the long strap which is not attachedmay be from another helmet, looks like an original M16 two buckle strap. the short riveted end is a typical Spanish chinstrap seen on Spanish M42 M26 and M21 helmets.

a very nice and rare configuration helmet

A nice model 18 Luftwaffe transitional with early ET/ckl (Eisenhuttenwerk AG, Thale Harz) ladder leg droop tail decal. Every thing that it is supposed to be.

I respectfully beg to differ.
What this is; looks like a WW1 era "Bell L" shell, in WW1 configuration.
Looks like it is more in the Feldgrau color scheme than Luft blue.

The decal is not graphically correct for a straight leg. Here is an early one for reference....

It looks like this one was hand drawn or painted, pretty good, but is it a decal?
