Hi Steve, is the DP28 original? It lacks the "wings" / mag release around the rear sight.

Cheers, Ade.

No, its scratch built. Our draconian gun laws here prevent us from owning "real machine guns". Its got some modified SMLE parts but the rest is hand built.
Cheers,
Steve

War Colorado Kampfgruppe

I am in the Colorado Kampfgruppe. We are a mixed unit of Generic impressions ranging from Falschirmjäger, Heer, and SS, and we have some Kriegsmarine as well. It is a fun group and a great bunch of guys! There is also a wonderful Pioneer impression being implemented.

There is our webforum, but you have to be a member to get in.

15th Panzergrenadier Regiment based in Barrie, Ontario. We are 12 strong with an MG42 ('Greta'), a captured M8 'Greyhound', BMW mit sidecar, Opel Blitz and a 'galosh kanone'. Our Obergefreiter is an engineering genius who is building from scratch a Panzerspahwagen 222. It is an awesome bunch of guys!

War 211 Grenadier Regiment

Helllo all, the 211 Grenadier Regiment is here as well. If anyone is willing to help us charter this new unit it would be greatly appreciated.

Over the weekend I went to Rockford ILL, and passed the authenticity inspection, and now I need to finish up the units history and submit.
Howver, I need 4 more names as possible prospects to help charter.

A little History:
The 211 G.R was part of the 71st Infanteri Div. which was attached to the 6th Armee. Taking part in the drive into France, then Barbarossa, and finally meeting it's fate in Stallingrad. The unit was reformed in March of 1943 from the convalescents that were evacuated out of Stallingrad up unitl 12/42.
Along with new recruits the 211 G.R served on the Eatern Front and in the Southern Sector "Italy" against the US Allies, then finally driving west and surrendering to the British near St. Veith, Austria. The unit was in excistance for 795 days.

Tid Bits:
Our unit Historian who lives in Berlin as located some surving members of the 211 Grenadier Regiment !

Recruting Help:
If you live in the Mid-West, or if you like to drive, or you are looking for a unit then please contact me and I'll send out the unit guidelines. I would like to have this unit chartered by May of 2006, but again we are in need of recruits.

Thanks,
Grenadier 211
