Maybe not "rare", but certainly a classic. I worked with a guy in Germany that joined the Waffen-SS because of this booklet. Cost him a leg and a lifetime of guilt for being labeled a "war criminal" after this war:

For me your shown piece combined with this background is certainly worth much more than any other possibly "show-condition" issue that may exist or be offered.

Thank you very much for sharing this unique piece of history - very few examples do bear such a personalized view on history like yours!

I heartedly agree with Thorsten,
and I must add(as a propaganda collector) that it is also a testiment to what propaganda is striving to do...influence individual humans to sacrifice all for the cause.

some on the poll have been reprinted, though really not the best for photos.

This postwar text book, it isn't the similar title Munin picture book, is rather scarce.

I think the publication posted in the following should be considered as extremely rare. Have personally only ever seen two for sale.

Germanische Freiwillige im Osten was published in 1943.

It is about the Germanic volunteers in the Waffen SS.

Great pictures

Best regards,

Rene
Does it also contain pictures of Flemish vollunteers?

Yes it is about the WSS volunteers from Vlaanderen, Finland, Denmark, Schweden, Switzerland, Norwegian and the Netherlands.

A very nice book.

Best regards,

My most beloved ones, the book in the center crossed my way the first time so I couldn't resist after a many many year long search.

Don't know where else to post this one, obviously a magazine, but a special issue and only about the SS traininingcamp in Sennheim. Many many foreign volunteer picturus inside.

Anyone perhaps knows how common these booklets are?

Hallo Jabnus,
Very nice issue of 'Die Aktion', I have the same, bought it for three euro I think.
But I think Storm also issued a booklet with the same article about the SS-Ausbildungslager Sennheim.
