Cut insignia still attached to uniforms..
I know we have displayed some Luft eagles attached to smocks, etc, in this area and the FJ section, but thought I would initiate a thread of other insignia still sewn to uniforms. Here is a few recent finds to start.
Luftwaffe Oberfeldwebel (FJ or aircrew) tab and tress from either a Fliegerbluse or 4-pocket (have not determined which one yet).

Willi,
Did those come from Bill Shea? I noticed he had a ton of unifiorm-cut insiginia like that on his cloth page recently.

Hi Brian......yes, the top two came from Bill Shea. He picked up a rather nice collection of these things.
Boy, was hoping to generate some interest and get to see some other pieces...

I thought they looked familiar. I really like these because you know they were there. Does the eagle and cockade have any stiffener on the back like the other ones he has? I too would like to see more uniform-cut insignia.

Hi guys. I really like these pieces as well. I saw Shea's collection but have a hard time giving him 2 1/2 to 4 times the price I've paid elsewhere.

Great LW eagles, Willi...... Interesting pieces, Jay. Uncommon to see the wreath on the KM breast eagle sewn on in a square, as well as the eagle triangle cap insignia........Here's most of my Heer cut-offs.

Gentlemen,
Just a question :
Why do eagles cut from a moth eaten jacket go for more than a unissued one..??
I'm just wondering...

Nice peices Bob and Jay. Bob, I agree with your comment on prices.....there were only a couple I had to have. I stick with the Luftwaffe FJ theme. Brian, my M43 insignia does not have the white stiffener. Here is a new find, in case you guys didn't see it in the FJ section.
