Received my first ever autographs today from Otto Carius and Erich Rudorffer..
Herr Carius even personalized my photos! Very nice fellow...

I'm happy that Herr Misch is ok.. Heard and read a lot that he's not doing good, glad the rumors are false....

I even received some autographs from Werner Franz - the cabin boy survivor of the Hindenburg today which is the 75th Anniversary of the Disaster... What a great coincidence!

Another interesting book by a knights cross (with oakleaves) holder is Gerhard Simons' "Lebensstufen" . It has some great photos of him in uniform during the war, photos from pre war school days, post war with family, letters, etc. Only in German though, so brush up on those language skills!
