Hi All
Ive just finished reading The Croation Legion by Jason Mark. Its all about the unit at the battle of Stalingrad. An absolute awesome read. A recent read was Blood and Iron by C G Sweeting. Its all about the Crimea campaign in WW2 and another very good book.

Right now I'm reading the Emergency Care, 12th Edition as part of METC's Joint Command (HMs now must take the EMT-B course due to our partnership wth the USAF). Military history in the making!

Just finished "I Will Bear Witness" by Victor Klemperer. A fascinating and timeless book. Should be required reading in schools.

Just finished Charles Dickens' GREAT EXPECTATIONS and THE PICKWICK PAPERS. Now I am starting TOM SAWYER. It has been too long and I want to read the greatest books ever written before I pass to the Great Void.

I am into Phillip Kerrs new tome, The Prague Fatale. It is a series of books about a Kripo agent that interacts with various high leaders and becomes a private detective after the war. Great fun as I have a few Krioo discs, the main character calls them "Beer tokens"

A retired USAF Col. gave me "The Coming Breakpoint", by Barry Goldwater. Amazing how accurate he was in 1976 about what is happening today in the U.S.

Stopped at Stalingrad - The Luftwaffe and Hitler's Defeat in the East, 1942-1943 by Joel S. A.Hayward.
A totally absorbing read, highly recommended for anyone interested in the history of the Luftwaffe.
Regards Richard.

2) 'Moby Dick' - Catching up on the classics...
