Default ID of General

At far left is Generalleutnant Agustin Muñoz-Grandes (1896 - 1970), Kdr. Of the 250.Infanterie-Division (aka- "Blaue Division" / “Division Azul”). He has just received the EK II (and went on to win the EK I, Ritterkreuz, and Eichenlaub).

Best wishes,
~ Mike Miller / ABR

Hi Volkbert!

you have to delete the last point of the URL, then it works.

Thumbs up wow!!!

Amazing photos!
A while back Prof. Ed Hayes inquired as to whether anybody ever actually had photos of Azad Hind awards being worn.
Looking at the photos I don't see a single award of any kind. An interesting tidbit.
Great photos!
Please keep posting if you have more.
Cheers,
JeMc

Hi DC- (what´s your firstname?),

I like this album too.
Two years ago I made a big mistake. I had a photo-group (60 photos) from a member of the German Staff of the Legion. The group also contained 2 award documents (1 for KVK 2nd. class, 1 for wound badge black) and the original unweared armshield of the Legion. And I was so foolish to trade it!

Here are three more photos from the album, one very rare, showing the owner of the album in SS Uniform with Armshield o the Legion.

I will also post a photo of the translation manual for commands from German to Hindustani.

Best wishes

Joerg
