Default 1950s M20 Super Bazooka for Sale on Gunbroker.com

Just wanted to make a post here in case anyone is interested. I am currently offering my M20 Super Bazooka as well as 2 early 3.5 inch practice rockets for sale on Gunbroker.com. I believe the current bid is around 200.00 for the lot. Great display piece. Here is the link:

Hey is this the model I hear bounced off North Korean tanks when the north crossed over and ran into elements of the 8th ARMY?

No, the one you're thinking of is the older WW2 vintage 2.36 inch M1A1 and M9 Bazookas. The larger 3.5 inch M20 "Super Bazooka" was adopted in 1950 specifically to punch through the armor of the larger tanks such as the Soviet manufactured models being used by the North Koreans. Since the newer M20 was just becoming available at the outset of hostilities, many units in the field were still using the older models in the early part of the War and they did prove to be quite ineffective.

She is currently up to around $526.00 with roughly a day left on the auction. Wouldn't be selling it if I didn't have to, but I need the money for another item i'm interested in. Still a great buy at this price!! I have seen comparable M9s (the model proceeding this one) of the same vintage sell for well upwards of $1000.00 without any rockets included, just the launcher. Great piece for someone's collection!!!
