Here is the unmarked S&L tombak minesweeper with the round wire catch. S&L rarely marked their KM badges. I've seen images of two L/16 marked examples so these exist as well.

Here is the tombak version of the so-called unmarked "AS in triangle". "AS in triangle" is most often attributed to Adolf Scholze; although not completely proven, member Pavels_2005 posted ground-dug badges from Gablonz of zinc "AS in triangle" products found along with Schwerin and W&L crimped zinc products and also showed wartime accounting books of Scholze proving a business relationship with Schwerin and W&L. It is at least a Gablonz-made badge, and there is fairly good forensic evidence linking the tombak to the zinc version that follows in the next post.

Despite the golden appearance of the tombak in the first photograph, this example has in fact lost most of its gilding, typical for these badges. The second example shows the original finish on these which typically ages to a more olive tone than other makers.

Here is the zinc unmarked "AS in triangle" - 1st pattern eagle, followed by the zinc unmarked "AS in triangle" with 2nd pattern eagle.
The link between these badges and the marked "AS in triangle" 2nd pattern eagle badges is explored in this thread.

Despite the circumstantial evidence linking "AS in triangle" to Adolf Scholze, for what it's worth, contacts in the Scholze company 60 years later were unaware of the firm ever using this logo rather than a plain A.S. (as discussed previously on GCA and elsewhere in WAF as well). Another possibility raised in those discussions is that "AS in triangle" may represent a consortium of companies of which Scholze was a member.

Here is the tombak unmarked Meybauer. These are always unmarked and are attributed to Paul Meybauer, Berlin, because of the distinctive hardware on this line of badges.

Here is Joseph's badge from his posting in this thread which also discusses the evidence suggesting this badge is by the same maker as the tombak Meybauer.

Well Norm, mine finally arrived today and I'm very please with it. It's vaulted, has about 80% of original finish, pin hook broken off. Like yours very "coppery" where base metal is showing through finish. I'm very pleased with it.
