im interested in buying a German Police Shako,

i am only really interested in paying around $400, the condistion wouldnt have to be mint and i know it wouldnt be for the price..

but i can only really find shako's on the web selling for around $600-800 and the odd $400 one which has already sold

"dealers who are selling Police Shako's quite cheap"

Sorry, can't help you with your tshako request at this time. Prices have shot up a bit in the last few years and to find a good conditioned $400 tshako today will be rather difficult, especially from a dealer! There is always a slim chance at eBay.

My advice, take the $400 and hide it away, then save up the $200 or so more to get yourself a decent version. It might take a bit longer wait, but it will be a better investment in the long run.
