Olympic Games Officials' Medals - Anyone Seen These Before?
Hi Everybody!
(Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum). I've recently acquired this set of medals for the '36 Olympics. They seem to be for staff and one has the name (I presume) 'Dr. diem' on the suspension bar. Does anyone know anything about them? Were many more awarded, i.e. for other staff positions. Is this an unusual find? Personally, I don't know but there the first I've encountered. Any thoughts, comments, much appreciated.
