Here is a Chinese copy of the Russian M-44. It was brought back by an advisor. He told me that a group of men he trained brought it back from a patrol and presented it to him.
It is very interesting because of the cottage industry grenade launcher.
I was able to find an inert round through Manion's years ago. It is a converted French mortar round and is what was used with this launcher.

This is the only Vietnam display I have. It is a grouping belonging to a CW3 Hutchinson of the 25th Infantry Division, 4th Cavalry Regiment. I like the “V” device on the Army Commendation Medal. I always wondered why they issued ARCOMS with “V” device instead of a Bronze Star or a DFC. I bet whatever he did to earn the ARCOM with V, he got the Purple Heart at the same time. It also appears that he had a lot of flight time with 22 Air Medals.
