Thumbs up Kameradenwerk Korps Steiner membership pin and book

This is a membership pin and a book by the post war Waffen SS Veteran Organisation IIIrd Germanisches Panzerkorps (for European Volunteers of the Waffen SS). Does anyone else have membership pins of other Waffen SS Veteran organisations? Cheers, Torsten.

close up of badge

This lot was given to a German Veteran of the Finnische Freiwilligenbattalion in Russia in 1941/42.

The book was put together in 1995 by SS-Obersturmfuehrer and Knights Cross Recipient Klemens Behler and it is basically an attempt at justifying the existence of the Waffen SS and the important role that the foreign volunteers played in fighting bolshevism.

The badge shown is actually an award given by the Committee of the Kameradenwerk Korps Steiner for long-standing members and for meritorious service (there was also a gold badge) and was acompanied by a certificate (Urkunde). The ordinary membership badge of the Kameradenwerk Korps Steiner was a simple shield shape stick pin with the same Nordland-Nederland logo.
