Michael
Is the only Polish item of your collection that lonely POLAND patch??
Just curious...........

I started collecting German stuff, but quickly dumped them in favour of Polish things....a much smaller market...certainly compared to the German market where there are tons of stuff and tons of collectors

and I thought the Poles were more heroic than the Germans...
and I wanted to honor them more than the Germans, though I agree the design of the German stuff is truly unique.....
nothing comes quite close to matching it.....except the Polish stuff..a bit..

and what amazes me are the prices that allied, other than Polish, fetch in the market...the other day a LT Colonel tunic of a British officer was up for sale, with all the patches and ribbons, for something like 100 dollars.........it remained unsold...amazing.....and then a 101 tunic, complete with award docs, medals, fotos..I think sold for something like $400......

I guess German things are the most expensive...by far, a distant second Polish things..and all the rest really dont even exist

funny market

Yup - market is Funny
I collect german - but thats not all I have from Polish Items :0
I do have a nice rogatywka hat (NCO pre 1939).. documents of my grand father (master seargant in 10th PP - 1919-1939) . .and some gear - but all of it is back in Poland - Here in US I have only this patch and patriotic ring (its on the patch - came together)

- I also have a great grouping to Polish guy enlisted to WH (He lived after war in Poland and got Polish Army retirement plan in 1956 - altough He was wounded during Stalingrad fighting in 1943 - He lost his leg... with 7th Panzer Division) - very interesing !!

anyway - all the best !! cheers !! mike

Chris.. there You go

its not like "super" crowded.. - but I cant fit anything more without ruining display...
At this point all my mint items are packed away in plastic bags and boxes, also all my straps.. A-frames, belts.. backpacks, badges - the same - hidden from sun.. dust or humidity... Also I took down manequinn - was catching too much dust

so I have just few examples on display... here we go:
