Can someone confirm this.

Hi Larister,
If Frank's "Trucks of the Wehrmacht" is correct in the type (and he usually is) I would say 100% correct, nice spot!
Cheers

Tim:
It is a Krupp L2H143 and it looks like an artillery towing version.
Can't help with the unit ID.

Thanks alot Bill
This certainly makes sense, as I have a lot more photos from the same guy showing SdKfz towing PAK.
As for the tactical marking, I could try to ask in the appropriate thread

Hmmm, Could be but defintly not the same year as the one you posted. The rear part of the fenders are different as well as the mounting for headlights. But I do think it is the same maker! thanks. Mike

Hi
Sorry, I should have been more specific. The photo I posted was to show certain similarities between the two cars which I believe to be DKWs.
Definitely not the same model but close.
Cheers

Edit: Photo is from Autogallery.ru, sorry forgot to add that originally.

I will take a stab at it Larry. How about a Sd.Kfz 7? The grille work and the headlight postitions match. Shame we can't see the road wheels.. Mike

hi
Hi Mike,
I think your car is a Wanderer, possibly some version of the W23, as I have seen a photo of a similar car here;
http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtop...light=wanderer
Which in the End Bill and I pretty much agreed it was a W23.
Cheers
Steve
