I always thought this little pass photos for ID's ( Soldbuch, License, Personnel File ) were neat. They were often given away to comrades, friends, etc.

Here is one of my favorites of Army Paratrooper Knights Cross winner ( Moerdijk, Holland ) Cord Tietjen.
