SS Steel Buckle for Review

Hi.
I have had this buckle for a few years, assuming it was probably original. I've been looking in the pantheon of fakes, but couldn't see it. There are no marks. Two easy details to focus on are the area between the legs and the eye.
Is it right and does anyone know the maker?

as already said a well known original one by Josef Feix Sohne in Gablonz (Sudeten).

About the lack of any maker marking, look at area close the catch and you'll see it…...as I do.

Thanks very much for your help and yes, you are right, there is a very faint JFS mark next to the catch.

...and a bit of advise, if you plan to sell it or receive offers of purchase, it is a very valuable SS buckle (+/- $900 USD range)
