Default Eric Dolan Camo

Here is a helmet Eric Dolan just sold today 22/4/2019 on his Facebook page for $1500 US.

From what I have read he has a chequered past and may have had a hand at the champagne SS debacle.

What are the forum members opinions of this helmet?

It has some very strange scratch patterns over it.

The wear pattern / scratches are contrived and fake. The white paint speckles of supposedly being stored in a garage are a nice touch. He does his homework, no doubt.

Thank you gentlemen.

Just as I suspected.

The $1500 US price had everyone in that group like a jumping bean.

It's Dolan's Facebook page so he can manipulate everything.

If it were authentic I would assume that helmet would be in the $2500+ range?

Is that safe to say?

Thanks in advance.....

By the way, His Facebook page is called "German helmet Collectors Forum"

Be careful my friends....

2500? that would be the higher end of retail on that IF it were real. I had heard the same tale about the champagne runes scam and his alleged involvement. Like many, he has his fans who trust him and buy from him...

Default dolin's camos

Let's be realistic Gentlemen, we are looking at one fake helmet , the tip of the iceberg. Everyone knows his game.

At a minimum, this should be returned immediately with full refund and profuse apology.

if anyone has purchased a dolin german camo helmet and would like to post it for comments..please do.

I would be more than happy to give my opinion on them and I am sure several more would also. I assume he has a no questions asked return policy.

Would love to see them.

It would be quite easy to verify the decal.
I'm not very fond of it but the photo is not detailed enough.
Are there any better photos of the decal ?

The consistency of the scratches on the crown is a standout on this one and as Walter says the white ceiling paint splatter is a nice touch for a faker. Make it seem like a bargain and the lemmings are tripping over themselves to be robbed...... Interesting how the decal has lost just enough of its fine detail as well.
