I believe the box is just crap, but not sure about the cross, what do you think?

Hello Antonio,

The cross is IMO a good original, with a beautiful patina
The case, the closure (see picture) and the inlay looks period to me. I am not sure about the print. But this is just mine opinion, lets see what others say?

Cross is of course fine.
The case is in my opinion period case for silverware with later added eagle and inlays. Notice the difference in thickness between the reference case and the case in question. IMO this one was made to store the spoons.

In your opinion, who could have been the maker of this one? The mark looks like a G, so no idea if that a Godet Cross is

I am not sure with the marking, more angles would help, but the cross is certainly not Godet.

The case is a modern fake made from an old cutlery case as Miro said. The EK2 looks ok but the name of this maker is not known to me.

The cross is IMO an unmarked V (unknown maker).

These crosses have a very wide frame (Breiter Rahmen)
