Just a thought like, but is a KwK 38 L55 the same dimensions as a Kwk 30 as I've got all the dims for the 38?

BTW great workmanship

Hi Satcong, I'd certainly be interested in the dimensions that you have. Although I think that the Kwk 38 is different from the 30, I've been trying to establish definitive dimensions for each for some time.
Jon, the breech for the Kwk 30 is the same as the Flak, of which I have the manual for. Any details from it you're welcome to. Just PM for my email address.
I also have this sitting on my shelf if you need more dimensions.

Cheers
Allan

In Munster there is a Flak 30 barrel in the Panzer II turett.

I post it in the firearmsforum too.
The receiver from the Kwk 38 is the same than from flak 38.
Only the topcover is different and the barrel is shorter.
The starting handle is further towards the center of the gun.

Same with the Kwk 30

The flak 30 muzzel brake shown before is only the upper part.
The other part is missing

Strange that I have just taken a couple of pictures with the Mg34 in place. The vision ports are all finished but I haven't taken any pictures with them in place, I will try tomorrow. Anyway I hope that you like what you see for now.
