Default More on the Pertrix Batteries

Hi Mike:
Please see my previous posting http://70.87.163.50/forums/showthread.php?t=325532. If you want to see the correct colors for a WW2 period Pertrix Anoden-Batterie (including #271) see the following link http://www.laud.no/ww2/tornfub1/index.htm. I don't think that these 2 batteries in the photo were made in Germany, the German batteries would have label Anoden-Batterie or the earlier ones Goldstreifen. Once again the Pertrix #271 was not used in the Torn.Fu.d2, the #271 had only 10 terminals whereas the Torn's battery had 16 terminals (I don't know actual Pertix type no. but it's dimensions were of approximately the same size, and it would have been the same color). A diagram of the cable connecting the battery unit to the radio unit can be found on page 21 of the Torn.Fu.d2. manual available (?) from the following link http://bama.sbc.edu/torniste.htm . Recently Rag LA5HE from this forum was offering an original manual for the Torn.Fu.d2 at a reasonable price.
Cheers
Aryeh

Default Color Label

Thank you for those links, but does someone(like repro food and cigarette labels), make repro battery labels, like the ones you sent on your link, or does a member have one they can scan the correct size that I can download and print....I'd really appreciate it, Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike:
There is at least one producer of repro labels http://www.radio-ghe.com/batthuellen.HTM but haven't seen one for the Torn.Fu.d2 battery. The dimensions for the Pertrix #271 were appx 7.8 x 2.9 x 6 inches http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DG the bottom photo of this link is the correct color. Another link showing probably a repro Perttix #271 is http://www.rkk-museum.ru/work/vitr_a...ts/325_e.shtml but this is the wrong color and not all details on labelling are correct. You could use the battery image from http://www.laud.no/ww2/tornfub1/index.htm and with a little bit of work with Photoshop/PaintShopPro enlarge the front view of battery to appx 7.8 x 2.9 inches.
Cheers
Aryeh

The links are not opening for me. Are there any current links that open? And is there a download for the label anyone knows of?
